New York, New York- TeleData Technology Inc. has partnered with NSC to develop a range of messaging solutions based on Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology. NSC has developed a family of DSP-based boards, designed for the PCI platform. The boards enable a simpler system architecture, do not need CPU resources for the ASR operation and provide high-density, low power consumption at a low cost.

TeleData's goal was to develop a reliable, cost effective Speech Recognition Directory solution for the T3Platform. The first implementation was for an insurance company located in Boston, Massachusetts, which was in need of a reliable messaging solution that included Speech Recognition Directory Assistance. The major advantage of NSC's board is that it can be configured to support multiple grammars and languages without taking the resources of the CPU or RAM required for the messaging application.

In the coming months, TeleData will introduce more products relying on NSC's ASR technology.
