T3 Telecom Software Announces Presence-based Greeting Management
New York, NY - October 4, 2011

T3 Telecom Software has released a new version of the T3main Messaging Platform which includes presence-based greeting management. The T3main integrates with Microsoft Outlook and extracts presence information that is used to handle incoming calls allowing voicemail to be linked directly to a user's Outlook status. Greetings are played automatically based on the status set in Outlook calendar such as Free, Out of Office, Busy and Extended Absence (Automatic Replies/Out of Office Assistant).

A user can further extend the capabilities of presence-based greetings by setting up additional rules to play specific greetings based on the Caller ID or the time of the incoming call, in addition to their Microsoft Outlook status. Through presence as well as a personal schedule, the T3main offers significant flexibility to the user for handling incoming calls.

The T3main integrates with Microsoft Outlook using Exchange Web Services (EWS) to extract presence information from Outlook and use it in the messaging system. EWS integration simplifies the unified messaging deployment process for T3 Telecom Software customers by removing the need for an external Msync server, as well as simplifies administration and increases security.
